Advertising disclosure

slovaris.online is funded by affiliate commission. This page explains exactly how that works, in more detail than the short notice at the top of every page.

The arrangement, in one paragraph

Some links on this site lead to an advertiser’s website. If you follow one of those links and take out a subscription, the advertiser pays Cape Coral Inc., s.r.o. a commission. You pay exactly the same price as you would by going to the advertiser directly — the commission comes out of the advertiser’s margin, not out of your pocket. If you read an article and leave, we are paid nothing.

How you can tell which links are commercial

Every commercial link on this site carries all of the following, without exception:

  • A notice at the very top of the page, above everything else, stating that the page carries partner links.
  • A disclosure box immediately beneath the headline, before any promotional content appears.
  • A visible label — “Partner link · advertisement” — rendered inside the button itself, including buttons in sidebars.
  • A note directly underneath each button, stating that we earn a commission and that it costs you nothing extra.
  • The attribute rel="sponsored nofollow noopener" in the page source, which is the machine-readable declaration search engines use to identify paid links.

If you find a commercial link on this site that is missing any of these, that is a fault and we want to know: info@slovaris.online.

What the commission does not affect

  • It does not buy a favourable conclusion. We publish no scores or rankings at all, so there is nothing for an advertiser to buy a place in.
  • It does not buy editorial approval. No advertiser reviews, approves or is shown an article before publication.
  • It does not buy the removal of caveats. The limitations we describe — that a VPN does not stop malware, that no product catches everything, that renewal prices rise — stay in the article.
  • It does not change your price, your terms or your statutory rights.

The bridge link

Commercial buttons on this site point first to /c/1/, a page on this domain that forwards you to the advertiser. It exists so that a single link can be updated in one place, and so that campaign parameters already present in your address bar are carried through. It sets no cookie and stores nothing in your browser. It is excluded from search engines in our robots.txt.

What we are not

  • We are not the seller. Cape Coral Inc., s.r.o. does not sell, bill, support, cancel or refund any product advertised here. Any contract is between you and the advertiser, on their terms.
  • We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any product or brand mentioned on this site. All trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used for identification only.
  • We do not provide legal, financial or professional advice.

Advertising and your privacy

Being funded by advertising normally implies tracking. It does not here. This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, loads no advertising pixel and makes no third-party requests at all. Regulatory basis

This disclosure is made to comply with, among others, Directive 2005/29/EC on unfair commercial practices as implemented in Czech law, Act No. 40/1995 Coll. on the regulation of advertising, Act No. 480/2004 Coll. on certain information society services, and the advertising policies of the platforms through which this site may be promoted.
